Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Refresh program, your child must meet both of the following criteria:
- Attend a school in Frisco, Little Elm, or Denton Braswell.
- Qualify for the ISD’s Free and Reduced Price Meal program.
How to Apply
If your child meets the above criteria, we invite you to enroll for the 2023/24 school year. If you need immediate assistance, please email us at info@refreshntx.org.
What We Provide
Refresh offers children enrolled in our program customized Refresh Packs. These packs include full-sized essential hygiene products, designed to last for 3 months. Once your child is enrolled, they remain in the program for the rest of the school year.
What's in a Refresh Pack?
Our Refresh Packs are customized to your child’s age, gender preference, and natural hair care. Here’s what a typical pack includes:
- Basic items: Toothpaste, toothbrush, floss, shampoo, conditioner, body wash/bar soap, lip balm, comb/brush, and lotion.
- Additional items for middle and high schoolers: Shaving cream, deodorant, and feminine products (for females).
- Seasonal items: Hand sanitizer or sunscreen, as needed.
- A Refresh Card: A handwritten note of encouragement, to give your child a boost!
When and How You'll Receive Refresh Packs
Refresh Packs are delivered once a quarter, typically in August, November, February, and May. Once enrolled, you’ll receive several emails with details on when and where packs will be distributed. Our packs will be available for pick up through drive-thru distributions or will be delivered to schools.
