Founder Elizabeth Watkins has called Frisco, TX home for the last 15 years. Touched by the need she saw in her community through her volunteer work on PTA boards and at a local food pantry, she set a goal to serve others by starting a nonprofit. She met with Frisco ISD administration, researched the needs of our Frisco community, and went back to school to earn a Nonprofit Management Certificate. In May 2019, Refresh Frisco was born.
Elizabeth holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA from Gonzaga University. Her true passion is serving the children in our community.
In just 3 short years, Refresh Frisco has become an organization that over 1400 students rely on to provide them with essential hygiene items. Refresh Frisco was named Best in Business by Frisco Style Magazine in 2021, a finalist for Nonprofit Organization of the Year by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce in 2021 and, for the 2nd year in a row, is a finalist for the Nonprofit Organization of the Year award by D CEO Magazine.
We hope that you will be inspired to join us as we give the gift of good hygiene to children in need in our community.
